    A groundbreaking celebration was recently hosted at DUSON for É«½äÖ±²¥ Health's newest building where there was a short ceremony to celebrate the collaboration between the School of Nursing and the School of Medicine for our new building. The new building will be the future home of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Division and offices of the School of Nursing, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery and Interprofessional Education and Care.

    É«½äÖ±²¥ Students for a National Health Program and DUSON Spectrum is sponsoring a screening and discussion of "," a powerful documentary that reaches across the political and ideological divide, on April 10 from 6-8 p.m. Light refreshments will be provided. The film was two years in the making, with more than forty voices advocating for reform, including: activists, health policy experts, economists, physicians, nurses, patients, business and labor leaders.

    É«½äÖ±²¥'s Beta Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society recently sponsored a reception after the IEE Radical Transformation Conference. During the reception, they had poster presentations to highlight research activities and current projects from DUSON chapter members and DANCE affiliates. Posters from Beta Epsilon members covered interprofessional education, heart health in the community, peri operative services and several other topics.

    ​DUSON Nurses Christian Fellowship is intended to be an interdenominational Christian fellowship organization for nursing students at all levels. We intend to meet regularly for Bible study, fellowship and prayer, as well as hold monthly events, such as service oriented activities in the community, on-campus guest speakers, social gatherings, church events, etc. Our general aim is to create a Christian community of nurses, develop ongoing friendships and to share ideas about how our Christian values impact our role as developing nurses.

    Kathryn Kreider was recently recruited for and participated as an item writer for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) National FNP Certification Exam. The FNP certification examination is an entry-level competency-based examination that tests clinical knowledge in family/individual across the life span (prenatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, elderly and frail elderly primary care). The certifying body for the AANP exam is the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (AANPCB).

Co-authors include experts from Shanghai Jia Tong University, Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, Gachon University and North Carolina State University.  Abstract Objectives: The study aimed to identify clusters of midlife women by their cognitive symptoms and to examine racial/ethnic differences in the clusters.
