      From Thursday, July 19 through Friday, July 20, the Center for Nursing Research is hosting a Summer Institute: Methods and Analytics for Symptom Science Research to support symptom science researchers and analysts who wish to explore advanced techniques for statistics modeling and data analysis. The two-day workshop will consist of an overview of cutting edge analytical techniques to explore symptom prevalence, severity and changes across time.

    PhD student Zhao Ni was recently awarded the 色戒直播 Global Health Doctoral Certificate Fieldwork Grant in the amount of $5,000 to support his research on cardiovascular disease and mHealth. The Global Health Doctoral Certificate provides an opportunity for doctoral students from across 色戒直播 to engage in the field of global health through a combination of coursework, a research-related field experience and engagement with peers and faculty.

    DNP and MSN alumna Crystal Tillman will be the commencement speaker for the College of Pharmacy & Health Science鈥檚 2018 spring ceremony at Campbell University.  鈥淲e are honored to have Dr. Tillman as our commencement speaker,鈥 said Dean Michael L. Adams (PharmD 鈥96). 鈥淪he has a clinical, educational and administrative background to pull from when addressing our graduates and guests. We look forward to welcoming her to campus.鈥

    On Friday, June 8, Ann Brown and Cathie Siders will be presenting "Kerfuffles, Conflicts and Misunderstandings: Strategies for Engagement" from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. in The Great Hall of the Trent Semans Center. This interactive session starts with the premise that the capacity to engage skillfully in challenging conversations is a vital component of leadership. Kerfuffles, conflicts and misunderstandings are every day occurrences. Unresolved, they cultivate resentment and stymy organizational progress- particularly where change is occurring.
