​OGACHI recently launched their first Global Conversation entitled "Global Health: Created a Shared Mental Model" led by Irene Felsman and Julie Cusatis. The purpose of these sessions are to help the DUSON community broaden their understanding of global health concepts and OGACHI initiatives. ​DUSON Community Health Improvement Partnership Program (D-CHIPP) along with the Center for Nursing Research (CNR) invite faculty members to the workshop, “Creating your Biosketch.” Whether a new researcher or seasoned researcher needing a biosketch refresher, we welcome all to attend on April 24th from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Rutherford, room 102. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop as the second half of the presentation will include biosketch writing. Lunch will be provided and registration is required.

One of our strategic initiatives highlights community health improvement. To meet this goal, we have launched the DUSON Community Health Improvement Partnership Program (D-CHIPP).

DUSON was recently featured in an article entitled "Around the schools: Books over basketballs at Williams" published in . 

Kudos to Eun-Ok Im and Wonshik Chee and their entire team for the submission of their NIH R01 Multi-PI application entitled "For Menopausal Symptom Management through Promoting Physical Activity: Midlife Asian American Women." This proposal requests funding for a five-year period with a start date of July 1, 2019. 

DNP '17 alumna, DUSON Consulting Associate and D-CHIPP Advisory Board Member Susan Haynes Little was recently awarded the American Nurses Credentialing Center's (ANCC) 2018 in Public Health Nursing. She was awarded for her significant contributions to her field of practice. 

Marilyn Oermann recently delivered the entitled "Developing the Science of Nursing Education" at the University of Michigan School of Nursing Research Day in Ann Arbor, MI. 

Dean Marion E. Broome recently presented the keynote address at the University of Kentucky (UK) College of Nursing (CON) . Her presentation was entitled "Fearless Leadership in Uncertain Nursing Times."
