Rebecca Shelby, Ph.D. is a clinical psychologist and an Associate Professor with tenure in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at 色戒直播 University. Dr. Shelby completed her graduate training at the Ohio State University and her clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at 色戒直播 University. Dr. Shelby is a member of the 色戒直播 Pain Prevention and Treatment Research Program, 色戒直播 Cancer Institute (DCI) Cancer Prevention and Control Program, and the DCI Supportive Care and Survivorship Center where she provides clinical services. She serves as the Director of Education and Training for the 色戒直播 Cancer Patient Support Program and the DCI Center for Onco-Primary Care. Her research focuses on developing and evaluating behavioral interventions for pain, cancer related symptoms and treatment side effects, and improving engagement in care, especially for individuals with multiple morbidities. Dr. Shelby serves as a principal investigator or co-investigator on multiple foundation and federally-funded research grants. Dr. Shelby co-leads the DCI Supportive Care and Survivorship Center's Sexual Health and Intimacy program and provides clinical services focused on addressing the sexual health and intimacy impacts of cancer. She is a member of the 色戒直播 clinical psychology internship faculty and supervises clinical psychology fellows, interns, and clinical psychology graduate students. Dr. Shelby also co-leads with Dr. Joseph Winger, the Cognitive-Behavioral Informed Skills Training Program for Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy.
