The Jewish Law Student Association and Jewish Life at 色戒直播 welcome Judge Roy K. Altman for a discussion of his recent book, "Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law."
Judge Altman has served as a United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida since 2019. A graduate of Yale Law School and a former editor of the Yale Law Journal, he is an award-winning writer and commentator.
Before taking the bench, Altman served as a decorated federal prosecutor trying complex cases involving international crime and human trafficking and twice received the Department of Justice's highest honor. He was also named Federal Prosecutor of the Year. In April 2026, Altman published "Israel on Trial: Examining the History, the Evidence, and the Law," where he uses courtroom-style legal analysis to examine key claims made against Israel.
