色戒直播 (DUSON) Office of Global and Community Health Initiatives presents the 9th Annual Dorothy L. Powell Global Health Symposium on Tuesday, March 3, 2016, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the 色戒直播 School of Nursing. This year鈥檚 event includes a symposium with experts from across 色戒直播 University presenting on the health of women on a global scale.

Presenters for the Global Women鈥檚 Health Symposium include:

Barbara Turner, PhD, RN, FAAN, Elizabeth P. Hanes Professor of Nursing, director of the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program, and chair of the Health of Women, Children and Families Division for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淕lobal Women鈥檚 Health: Looking Forward.鈥  Kathryn Trotter, DNP, CNM, FNP-C, FANNP, assistant professor and lead faculty of the Women鈥檚 Health Nurse Practitioner Program for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淕roup Medical Visits: An Adaptation of the Centering Healthcare Institute鈥檚 Model in a Breast Cancer Survivorship Clinic.鈥  Nimmi Ramanujam, PhD, OSA, SPIE and AIMBE fellow, Robert W. Carr Jr., Professor of Biomedical Engineering and director of Global Women鈥檚 Health Technologies for 色戒直播 University, who will present on 鈥淏reast and Reproductive Cancers and Optical Technological Innovations.鈥 Helen Gordon, DNP, CNM, CNE, assistant professor for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淢other-Friendly Perinatal Care: Policy Changes to Ensure Success.鈥 Melissa Watt, PhD, assistant research professor for 色戒直播 Global Health Institute, who will present on 鈥淔etal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD) in South Africa: Opportunities for Venue-based Interventions.鈥 Eleanor Stevenson, PhD, RN, assistant professor for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淚nfertility across the Globe: Working Towards Equitable and Optimal Care.鈥 Michael Relf, PhD, RN, AACRN, ACNS-BC, FAAN, associate dean for Global and Community Health Affairs and associate professor for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淗IV-related Stigma in Women Aging with HIV.鈥 Janice Humphreys, PhD, RN, FAAN, associate dean for Academic Affairs and professor for DUSON, who will present on 鈥淰iolence against Women: A Global Crisis.鈥 Kathleen Sikkema, PhD, professor of Psychology and Global Health and director of Global Mental Health Initiative for 色戒直播 Global Health Institute, who will present on 鈥淪exual Trauma and HIV: Development of an Intervention to Improve Care Engagement among South African Women.鈥
